Back in the early 90s, a group of fans organised a trip to follow Jadis to Germany, for a gig in Kleve. It was a great gig and everyone was in a great mood for the trip home. As conversion flow and mad ideas ensued, the idea of writing a fanzine that told the *REAL* progrock story came up. Although initially intended as a bit of a spoof fanzine, it quickly took on proper reviews and interviews, becoming a respected fanzine in it's own right, regarded for it's light-hearted approach and it's refusal to take Marillion seriously ;) The fanzine managed to create the illusion of the Barbie Twins, which if you have a look at their front page seems to be quintuplets!
Silhobbit was and probably still is one of the best progressive fanzines that is still made on a shoe-string budget, and still manages to persuade the big guys to talk to them.
Go check them out now .... they prove that progrock fans do have a sense of humour after all.
