We're not sure which gig this is, as ARK several gigs at The Royal Standard over the years. However, after much deliberation we decided it must have been in 1989 due to Ant still using the face paint, and John Jowitt not looking as youthful as he did in the early promo shots.

The Royal Standard was a favourite haunt of the band for several years, until it closed down. As it was for several up and coming progressive rock bands at the time. After winning over the London audiences ARK were welcomed back at every occasion, providing some of their best sets away from a home crowd.
